Based in Charleston, West Virginia, Duelists of Appalachia is a nonprofit Historical European Martial Arts club dedicated to the study and practice of historical European swordsmanship. Their work blends martial skill, historical study, and a strong community spirit, and they bring that passion to everything they do.

Dice & Deception is bringing a live, interactive murder mystery show to the Hurricane Renaissance Faire.

Inspired by fantasy tabletop roleplaying games, this experience lets faire-goers step into the story, meet suspicious characters, gather clues, uncover secrets, and question suspects as the mystery unfolds.

You’ll compare stories, follow the evidence, and even use the dice to influence your investigation.

No experience needed — just curiosity and a sense of adventure.
